About Tsawwassen, BC
Tsawwassen a town within the Municipality of Delta has a population of about 22,000 and is located approximately 35 kilometres southeast of Vancouver. The BC Provincial Ferry Services Terminal is south of the town site. Ferry services are provided daily to Vancouver Island and the 13 Canadian Islands in the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
The surrounding area is largely residential and is adjacent to Point Roberts a tiny peninsula of the USA south of the 49th parallel and consequently landlocked accessible by road through Tsawwassen. Paintball is a popular favourite pastime of the area.
